"Pushkara" translates to "blue lotus," representing purity, nourishment, and blooming from the mud. When a planet falls into a Pushkara Navamsha degree, it is bathed in a healing, life-giving energy that protects it from harm and ensures it eventually produces positive, fruitful results.

The Magic of the Lotus Degrees

The zodiac is a 360-degree wheel, divided into 12 signs of 30 degrees each. Within those signs, there are 108 Navamshas (divisions of 3 degrees and 20 minutes). Out of these 108 divisions, exactly 24 are considered Pushkara.
